Job Description
Join our healthcare client as a Triage Nurse (RN) in Philadelphia, PA, where you’ll play a key role in wound care, MOUD induction, and supporting PrEP, HCV, and HIV care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Compensation: $55/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Triage Nurse (RN):
- Wound Care: Conduct wound assessments, design participant-centered care plans, and monitor progress.
- Infection Management: Assess for signs of skin and soft tissue infections and collaborate with providers for necessary treatment.
- Documentation: Complete required documentation for patient care and billing purposes.
- Medical Support: Assist with medical intake, recording vitals, and supporting medication dispensation and adherence.
- Assessments: Perform triage for MOUD, PrEP, HCV, and HIV care, supporting outpatient stabilization and referrals as needed.
- MOUD Induction: Assist with MOUD inductions under clinical supervision and collaborate with case management.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure/Certification: Active RN license in Pennsylvania required (wound care training or certification preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of Clinical experience, ideally working with homeless individuals affected by substance use.
- Skills: Strong understanding of harm reduction principles (Spanish language skills are a plus).
- Additional Experience: Preferred experience in emergency care, ambulatory primary care, infectious disease, or family medicine settings.
