Assistant Nurse Manager – Pediatrics (Inpatient)
Shifts: Nights
Hours: 30 hours per week
Job Summary:
Oversees daily clinical operations in the Pediatric Inpatient Unit, ensuring quality care, compliance with regulations, and efficient staffing. Supervises 20-60+ employees and manages budgets, payroll, and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily unit operations, staffing, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient care quality.
- Supervise staff development and implement action plans.
- Address patient and family concerns and collaborate across departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in inpatient Pediatrics.
- 2+ years in a leadership role (charge nurse, preceptor, etc.).
- Active California RN License and BLS required.
- ACLS preferred.
- Experience in a union hospital environment preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary: $152,000 – $156,000.
- Comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus.
