Millbrook is looking for dedicated School Nurses (LPN or RN) in a school setting for some new and exciting opportunities throughout San Bernardino, CA!

To be considered for these positions, a candidate must have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree (A.A.). or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Active CA State Nurse Licensure
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Valid TB Test and Physical (dated within 1 year)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Care
• FERPA Training
• Ability to meet pre-employment credentialing clearance (Background and Drug Screen)
• Experience in a public-school setting

Details:

• Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School
• Contracted for the 24/25 School Year

As a School Nurse, you will:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive school health program.
• Collect information about the health and developmental status of students.
• Develop nursing care plans with specific goals and interventions delineating school nursing action unique to student’s needs.
• Maintain nursing care that promotes, maintains, or restores health and prevents illness.
• Documentation of nursing care.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals both in the school district as well as outside of the school district.
• Assess, plan, and implement school health services in collaboration with other school/district staff.
• Ride the bus to and from school with students (as applicable).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
