Job Description

Job Overview – Practice Manager:
Become a key member of our client’s healthcare team in Brooklyn, NY, as a Practice Manager. This position calls for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing medical offices, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of both staff and patient needs.

Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities as the Practice Manager:

  • Leadership & Support: Serve as the main contact for staff, patients, and clients; provide coaching and feedback.
  • Relationship Management: Oversee hiring, development, performance management, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure efficient office operations, prioritize patient needs, and manage scheduling and onboarding.
  • Policy Compliance & Problem Solving: Ensure policy adherence and proactively resolve issues.
  • Reporting & Improvement: Provide regular performance reports and implement process improvements.
  • Quality Assurance & Regulatory Consultation: Ensure service quality, resolve discrepancies, and consult on regulations.
  • Trend Communication & Risk Management: Communicate trending issues and manage risks and growth opportunities.
Qualifications for the Practice Manager:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a related role, with knowledge of NY Workers Compensation Policies and experience in No Fault and Liens.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attributes: Empathetic, understanding of staff and patient needs, and effective in HR situations.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
