Millbrook is looking for dedicated 1:1 Private Duty Nurses (LPN or RN) in a school setting for some new and exciting opportunities throughout the Greater Phoenix Area!
To be considered for these positions, a candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree (A.A.). or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Active AZ State Nurse Licensure
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- Valid TB Test and Physical (dated within 1 year)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Care
- FERPA Training
- Ability to meet pre-employment credentialing clearance (Background and Drug Screen)
- Experience in a public-school setting

- Start date: July 26, 2024
- End date: May 23, 2025
- Contracted for the 24/25 School Year
As a 1:1 Private Duty Nurse, you will:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive school health program.
- Collect information about the health and developmental status of students.
- Develop nursing care plans with specific goals and interventions delineating school nursing action unique to student’s needs.
- Maintain nursing care that promotes, maintains, or restores health and prevents illness.
- Documentation of nursing care.
- Collaborate with other health care professionals both in the school district as well as outside of the school district.
- Assess, plan, and implement school health services in collaboration with other school/district staff.
- Ride the bus to and from school with students (as applicable).
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
