Are you seeking a new career opportunity? I’m working with a senior living facility in Kansas City MO, and we’re looking for a Director of Nursing (DON-RN) to join us full-time.

We are a family-owned senior living and health care community that has been around since 1985 focusing for decades on serving each resident and helping them achieve the lifestyle and find the care they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.
• Be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
• In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Qualifications:

• A passion for working with seniors.
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from accredited nursing school (preferred).
• Prior experience in an LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting (required).
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role (required).
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
