In this vital role, you will be responsible for admitting patients, assisting in procedure rooms, monitoring post-procedure recovery, and maintaining instruments and inventory.

Schedule: Flexible Scheduling
Compensation: $58 - $63/hour

In this vital role, you will be responsible for admitting patients, assisting in procedure rooms, monitoring post-procedure recovery, and maintaining instruments and inventory.

Compensation: $58 - $63/hour
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse, Per Diem:
- Admitting Role: Identify patient, perform pre-procedure assessments, insert IV catheters, and provide emotional support.
- Procedure Assistance: Confirm patient identity, document procedures, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist with procedures.
- Recovery Room: Follow recovery orders, document progress, communicate discharge instructions, and ensure patients meet discharge criteria.
- Equipment and Inventory: Maintain and operate equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality initiatives, attend staff meetings, and stay informed of procedural changes.
- Education: BS or equivalent college degree and current state RN license.
- Experience: 4 years in Endo, Surgery/Ambulatory, or OR settings.
- Certifications: ACLS certified; if BLS certified, willing to become ACLS certified.
- Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional Requirements: Prior experience in an admitting, procedure, or recovery role in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a GI setting.
