No Will you accept a first-time traveler? No Patient Types: Vaginal delivery, Cesarean Section delivery, Newborn, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, Mastectomy, Hysterectomy, UFE, Patient Ratios: 1:6 Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Skills required: Couplet Care Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio:) 1-2 if census allows Receptionist/HUC? No Charge nurse? Yes Phlebotomy? In house IV/VAT Team? Yes, in house Hospitalist? Not on unit but in house residents Telemetry monitoring tech? Are RNs required to read/measure tele strips? Yes/ No, not on Mother Baby Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner Maternity IV pumps: Hospira/ Abbott Plum A+ Medication dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Space Labs Floating: If yes, where? Yes, as support staff not to take patients. Throughout hospital Orientation: 3 shifts on Mother Baby Unit Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend On call?
