Job Description
Prepare and administer infusion or injections following prescribed protocols
Administer medications and treatments with accurate dosage calculations
Ensure patient are is documented in the EMR
Assist in maintain medical inventory and supplies
Provide patient and family education on diseases processes and treatment side effects
Collaborate with referring providers for prior authorizations and obtaining clinical notes
As needed, support related services such as pre-registration and prior authorization
Ensure a clean and disinfected environment after each patient use
Assist with audits and regulatory functions
Communicate with referring/prescribing providers regarding patient care
Qualifications and Job Info
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license for State of CA
Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing
BLS provider certification, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
PALS provider certification, strong preferred, credentialed from the American Heart Associations (AHA)
Experience in an infusion setting preferred.
