Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN):
Join our client’s dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Philadelphia, PA. The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to adults with HIV and work closely with the LGBTQ community, homeless individuals, and those with substance use issues. This position requires experience in primary care outpatient settings and proficiency with HIV and substance use medications.
Compensation: $53/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):
- Patient Triage: Assess and triage patients, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
- HIV Treatment: Administer HIV injections/medications and manage substance use medications.
- Primary Care Support: Provide patient education on hypertension, diabetes, nutrition, and primary care topics.
- Patient Advocacy: Work with a diverse patient population, including the LGBTQ community, homeless individuals, and those with substance use issues.
- Walk-In Clinic Support: Assist with walk-in patients, maintaining efficient patient flow.
- Nursing Support: Provide floor support for walk-ins and assist MAs with injections.
- EMR System: Utilize ECW Eclinical Works for electronic medical records.
- Experience: Extensive primary care outpatient experience with expertise in HIV and substance use medications.
- Skills: Proficient in patient education on health topics such as hypertension, diabetes, and nutrition.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using ECW Eclinical Works or similar EMR systems.
