The Role
As the Director of Clinical Services, you will lead the clinical team, ensuring a collaborative, efficient, and high-quality care environment. Your leadership will shape the agency’s operations and touch the lives of our patients, their families, and our staff. This role is ideal for a dynamic and innovative leader who excels in fostering a culture of teamwork, driving clinical excellence, and advancing care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operations: Direct daily clinical operations, ensure compliance with agency standards, and oversee resource budgeting and utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Drive agency-wide QAPI initiatives to uphold and elevate care quality.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with leadership and ownership to strategically guide the organization into its next chapter of healthcare excellence.
Core Performance Responsibilities
- Clinical Program Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical objectives, professional standards, procedural manuals, and job descriptions. Conduct performance evaluations for clinical staff.
- Effective Communication: Provide timely reports to the ownership group on clinical performance, accreditation benchmarks, and quality improvement efforts.
- Patient Care Oversight: Ensure comprehensive care plans align with physicians' orders, agency policies, and regulatory requirements. Direct and assign staff for optimal care delivery.
- Staffing & Availability: Maintain 24/7 nursing coverage and designate qualified leaders during absences.
- Productivity Management: Enforce production standards and optimize clinical team efficiency while maintaining excellence in care delivery.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: RN, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Expertise: Strong foundation in nursing principles, clinical leadership, and teaching.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicare Conditions of Participation, ACHC or CHAP accreditation standards, and state/federal home health regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Axxess EMR is preferred
