(Archived) Nurse Specialist (RN) - New Jersey

I’m working with a senior living facility in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area and we’re looking for a Nurse Specialist (RN) to join us full-time! Travel will be required. Mile reimbursement and travel expenses paid through a reimbursement package.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination of the resident care department in a specified community, ensuring that the community remains in complaint with community, company, and state specific regulations and guidelines.
• Assist the community with budgeted labor hours, achieving appropriate revenue generators, appropriate scheduling needs, and the move in process & minimizing the move out process.
• You will help with the hire process, coordinate and monitor performance in accordance with the facility’s policies.
• You will foster a positive team spirit within the community to include, but not limited to, the Executive Director, the nursing staff, the sales & marketing staff, the engagement and reflections staff, the housekeeping, and dining staff.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active RN license in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Need to be at least 25 years of age and must have at least (2) years of demonstrated experience with caring for seniors and supervisory management skills. Proven leadership (required).
• Computer skills: Demonstrate computer literacy and familiarity with office software including word processing, spreadsheets, and database managers software.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities: The ability to handle multiple priorities. Must be knowledgeable about care for seniors with dementia according to the facility policies, as well as current state and local standards. The ability to handle emergency situations calmly and completely is essential.
