Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for assessing donor suitability, administering immunizations, and providing emergency care. Ensures compliance with medical standards and SOPs. Not your typical nursing position, more of a triage role vs. bedside nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts confidential donor interviews and assesses suitability for plasma donation.
- Provides medical guidance and responds to staff inquiries.
- Performs medical history reviews, assesses screening results, and counsels donors.
- Handles medical emergencies and maintains clean work environment.
- Manages donor immunization programs and ensures accurate record-keeping.

Operating Hours:
- Temporary Monday through Saturday shifts, 8-10 hours per day.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a healthcare training program.
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to make physical assessments and provide donor education.
- Bilingual skills may be required.
Cross-Training:
- Must cross-train in Reception, Donor Floor, and Processing Lab.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with occasional overtime and exposure to hazardous materials.
