Job Description
Medical Search International (MSI) is currently recruiting multiple ICU RNs for a Hospital in Bronx, NY.
!!RATE INCREASE!!
Grossly 5,424 per week!
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Efficient in managing patient with EVD, multiple medication drips, use of Hemosphere Flotrac
- Efficient in managing trauma patient of different severities
- Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
- Efficient in the care of patient with hypothermia treatment
- Familiar with the care pleurevac chest tube drainage
- Familiar with the use of Allscript EMR
- Must observe strict isolation precaution, hand washing, gel in and gel out
- Must follow the SOP and critical care practice of the Hospital
- Familiar with the use of PCA pump
Qualifications
- BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school.
- RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
- 3 years of RN experience
- One year or more ICU experience is a plus
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS, CCRN, or TNCC certifications
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 12 hour shifts, 4 days per week; Day and Night Shift available
Length of Assignment: 8 weeks, 48hours/wk - no overtime, possibility of extending the contract
