MSI is currently searching for a Registered Nurse for Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Wallkill, New York. The RN will be working with female adjudicated juvenile delinquents, generally between the ages of 12 and 18.
Responsibilities:
· Check emergency equipment start of shift
· Rounds to infirmary throughout shift.
· Receive and triage sick call requests. Process as necessary
· Pull charts for next day clinics.
· Set up for nurses’ sick call.
· Monthly check stock meds for outdated, reorder stock as necessary
· Inventory emergency bag monthly.
· Tend all emergencies and document
· 6AM Rounds, sick call and medications to SHU.
Requirements:
- Active New York license
Start Date:
Immediately upon successful credentialing
Schedule:
Monday – Friday (11pm – 7am)
