Job Description

Providing immediate medical intervention and stabilization to patients experiencing sudden, serious illnesses or injuries, including rapid evaluation, necessary treatments.
Ensure patient safety and initiate appropriate treatment plans, often occurring in hospital settings like emergency departments; key roles include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with other healthcare team members to manage acute health crises.
Quickly evaluating a patient's condition to identify the severity of their illness or injury.
Following established treatment protocols and making adjustments as needed based on patient response.
Analyzing results from tests like EKGs, X-rays, and blood work to inform treatment decisions.
