Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical unit in Eureka, CA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, ensuring the highest standards of medical and surgical nursing. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, and implementing effective nursing care plans in the Med/Surg unit.
• Administer medications, monitor patient recovery, and provide post-operative care in accordance with hospital policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about care plans, recovery processes, and discharge instructions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and valid California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nursing experience, preferably in a Medical/Surgical setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $93,525 to $114,850 per year.
