Job Overview - Practice Manager:
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead and manage a medical office. This pivotal role involves overseeing operational functions, managing staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Practice Manager:

  • Main Contact and Support: Serve as the primary contact for staff, patients, and vendors, fostering positive relationships.
  • Staff Management: Oversee hiring, staff development, and performance management in collaboration with HR and administration.
  • Operational Efficiency: Guide staff and prioritize patient needs to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Provide coaching and feedback to staff, suggesting creative solutions when needed.
  • Performance Improvement: Implement processes and action plans to enhance performance, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Reporting: Generate monthly and quarterly reports on productivity, service, and metrics.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, onboarding, and other clerical tasks.
  • Risk and Growth Management: Identify risks and growth opportunities, consulting with relevant departments on regulatory matters.

Qualifications for the Practice Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management/Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related position.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of NY Workers Compensation Policies, No Fault, and Liens.
  • Other: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
