Job Description
Nurse managers are responsible for supervising nursing staff in a hospital or clinical setting.
They oversee patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, set work schedules, coordinate meetings, and make decisions about personnel.
Responsible for managing human and financial resources
Ensures patient and staff satisfaction
Maintains a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors
Ensures standards and quality of care are maintained
Aligns the unit's goals with the hospital's strategic goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years current Management experience (Inpatient or clinic setting) - Required
Supervisory Experience required
Adequate transportation and Valid Driver License - Required
BSN - Preferred
BLS certification
Active state license
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
