Nurse Manager – Operating Room

Location: Los Angeles and surrounding areas

Full-Time, Day Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager for our Operating Room to join our Surgical Services team. Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the RN Manager will manage and coordinate high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with patient care and clinical performance standards. This role will supervise the operating room clinical staff and manage the professional nursing care for surgical and procedural patients. The RN Manager will also serve as a resource for staff performance and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate quality patient care in the surgical and procedural areas.
  • Supervise the operating room clinical staff and assess, plan, evaluate, and document the nursing process as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with patient care standards and implement quality assurance measures.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, focusing on performance and professional development.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high standards of care and cost-effective practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
    • CNOR and/or CPAN certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible nursing management experience in an acute care hospital setting (such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $142,000 - $228,571 per year.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.
