Schedule Monday – Friday

8am -5pm

Get up to $115 per hour

We cover travel and malpractice.

Location : Mescalero Service Unit Outpatient/Urgent Care Department 318 Abalone Loop Mescalero, NM 88340

The Mescalero Service Unit is a federally operated Indian Health Service (IHS) healthcare facility located on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in southern New Mexico. This full-service medical center delivers comprehensive healthcare to the Mescalero Apache Tribe and neighboring communities, offering quality care through primary, preventive, and specialty medical services.

Job Details :

Deliver comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care to ensure the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their babies

• Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears and pelvic exams
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of reproductive health conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, and pelvic pain
• Perform screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and provide appropriate treatment and counseling
• Provide contraceptive counseling and manage family planning services, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs)
• Educate patients on women’s health, preventive care, and lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellness
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
• Prescribe and manage medications, hormonal therapies, and other medical interventions
• Offer specialized menopausal care, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and symptom management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated and holistic care
• Perform office-based procedures, such as IUD placements, endometrial biopsies, and minor gynecologic treatments

Contractor will maintain active, full and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in this state or any other state of the United States of America throughout the duration of this contract.

Contractor must provide and maintain active Nurse Practitioner Certification or Women’s Health Specialty Certification throughout the duration of this contract

Contractor must maintain credentialing and privileges at Mescalero Service Unit

Contractor must have a valid driver’s license

Provide documents to complete security procedures to include fingerprint cards

Maintain confidentiality of patient care records
