Cardiovascular Surgery - APP - First Assist
Location: Idaho
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our team in Idaho. The role encompasses emergency call coverage, scheduled OR cases and inpatient rounding, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency call coverage as needed.
- Assist in scheduled OR cases, including vein harvesting.
- Participate in inpatient rounding.
- Collaborate with a full nursing team, one full-time APP, and three full-time employed surgeons.
- Support our Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery programs.
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system for documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid APP license in Idaho.
- Proficiency in vein harvesting.
- Experience in the operating room.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work weekends and participate in CV surgery call coverage.
