Job Description
Great opportunity in Eastern Texas within the Longview area for an NP or PA to work in an outpatient Pre Admit Surgical Screening role.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Very similar role to a Primary Care/Family Med care role
- PASS - Pre Admit Surgical Screening - optimize patients for surgery
- Full screening of patients similar to PCP
- Educate patients on the procedures and expectations
- Check medications for complications
- Mon-Fri 8-5 with no call or weekends
- Patient volume varies but can expect to see about 20 patients per day on avg once trained
- Will see ages 18+
