Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for a dedicated, compassionate inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work with our partners near Vancouver, WA. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (NOT contract).
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment teams and work collaboratively with other disciplines in planning for the treatment of their patients
- Assess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and collaborate with the referral and intake department.
- Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients and perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care
- Provide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their care
- Complete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframes
- Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.
- Must see ages 12 and up
Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- 1+ years of inpatient psychiatric clinical experience as a PMHNP required
- Strong experience as a psychiatric RN within an inpatient setting
- Must be licensed as a PMHNP
- Must be licensed as an NP in Washington or show proof of application
- DEA required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Compensation and Schedule:
- Compensation begins at $145K base salary plus RVU, but base pay can be considerably more based on skills and years of experience
- Monday - Friday schedule (8A - 5P) with some (paid) call
