Locum Inpatient Psych need in AK!

Looking for a Psychiatry provider to work full time as inpatient consult liaison.

This position will support the inpatient teams in the psychiatric emergency room, the consult liaison services and may be needed for coverage for the Mental Health Unit (MHU). Should MHU coverage be needed, that work is 7 days on and then 7 days off with overnight call.

Leadership would ensure the schedule is made in advance to allow appropriate time off before and after.

We require someone who can be both child/adolescent and general board certified.

The service line support consult services in both the psychiatric emergency room as well as the Children's hospital.

EMR: EPIC.

Qualifications:

· AK license, active and unrestricted

· BC-Psychiatry

· BLS

· Credentialing within 60-90 days (June Start).

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
