DESCRIPTION of NEEDS: Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Shift Times/Schedule: Monday-Friday 0830-1700 (can flex from 0800-1630 to 0900 to 1800) If not, 0830-1700 is in the middle and might be best.

Need someone FT M-F every week starting January 2025 (if credentialed in time) through end of year December 2025. Please note, January may not be feasible with credentialing timeline and holidays.

Population: Inpatient Adult

Required:

Credential Accepted: DO;MD

Board Status: Board Certified/Board Eligible

State Licensure: Washington

DEA

Coverage Need:

Setting: Hospital

FTE: 1.0

Duties: Consultative service

Support Staff: Behavioral Health Social Worker

• Deal Breakers: Must be local to Seattle!!!
• EHR is Cerner

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:

Admissions per day: None

Patients/day: 2-8

Types of cases: Involuntary psychiatric care for mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use, agitation management for delirium and dementia, capacity evaluation, safety evaluation for patients with suicidal ideation, evaluation of depression/demoralization or psychological symptoms affecting medical care.

All inpatient, adults (some geriatric)

REQUIRED:

~ WA state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC

~ BC/BE: General Psychiatry

COMPENSATION; Highly competitive hourly rate for locums.
