DESCRIPTION:
· In-patient Psych
· ASAP - Ongoing
· 40 Hours per week
Monday through Friday
8:00 am - 4:30pm
--The inpatient psychiatrist will cover a census of up to 26 patients, which may be split amongst different inpatient units.
--There is no off-hours call but the inpatient psychiatrist will share in the rotation of psychiatric code beeper daytime coverage several times per month.
--There is also occasional need for cross-coverage of colleagues.
REQUIRED:
- NY state license; active, unrestricted
- Board Certified with 1 minimum year of experience post residency/training.
- Verification of Medicaid/Medicare registration or enrollment.
COMPENSATION:
- Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
- Malpractice insurance provided.
- Extended leave will not be permitted during this assignment. Shorter leaves (e.g., one week or less) may be considered.
