Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Needed in the State of Washington for Locums Coverage

Aya Locums is Seeking Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner for Locums Coverage

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend

Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Optional Saturday hours.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
· Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Pediatric.
· Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but a plus.

· EMR: EPIC

· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Well-child visits. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management.
· Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center

Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging.

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Minimum Experience Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have minimum of 2 years experience in community health.

Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks

All providers will require name clear.

Must be COVID and Flu vaccinated
