Your New Role:

  • Position: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedics
  • Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent
  • Setting: A rural mountain community hospital
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
  • Patient Population: Varied patient population in a rural setting, including post-operative patients, patients requiring physical assessments and evaluations, and those with acute medical conditions or injuries.

In this Role:

In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting and assisting with patient care across various stages. You'll handle pre- and post-operative tasks like dressing changes and suture removal, manage follow-up care for surgical patients, conduct physical assessments, and even assist with patient transfers in critical situations. Your responsibilities will also encompass taking patient histories, vital signs, and assisting with procedures, all while providing stabilization and evaluation for patients with acute medical conditions and injuries. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of patients within a beautiful mountain community.
