Job Description
Our long time client in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join their well-established oncology/hematology group. This is an outpatient cancer center with extensive chemotherapy administration, radiation oncology, pharmacy and research department..
Responsibilities:
Managing health problems and coordinating health care for the
Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and
regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status,
diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of
treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)/PA-C
1 year of experience in Oncology/Hematology
Strong computer skills, experience in EMR
