Schedule: 3x 24-hour shifts/week (9a–9a)
Call Required: In-house during 24-hour shifts

Clinical Details

  • Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based

  • Patient Population: Newborns only

  • Census: 0–5 patients/day

  • Deliveries: Average of 1 per day

  • NICU Level: Very low volume; no high-risk deliveries; 35+ weeks gestational age

  • Typical Cases: Occasional blood sugar issues post-delivery

  • EMR: Cerner
