Nurse Practitioner – Neonatal (NNP)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing advanced care to a diverse range of newborns from normal to high-risk cases. You will play a critical role in managing neonatal patients, performing assessments, specialized procedures, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage neonatal patients, performing physical exams, evaluations, and specialized procedures.
- Provide critical care in delivery rooms and neonatal units, including resuscitation, intubation, and emergency interventions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with attending physicians on treatment plans and make rounds on designated patients.
- Document all patient care activities, including histories, procedures, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Develop and update neonatal care protocols, participate in quality management programs, and provide educational support to staff.
- Serve as a clinical resource and maintain expertise through ongoing education and participation in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of neonatal care experience.
- MSN and current RN and APRN licenses (Hawaii).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $129,100 – $166,980 per year.
