Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing advanced care to a diverse range of newborns from normal to high-risk cases. You will play a critical role in managing neonatal patients, performing assessments, specialized procedures, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage neonatal patients, performing physical exams, evaluations, and specialized procedures.
  • Provide critical care in delivery rooms and neonatal units, including resuscitation, intubation, and emergency interventions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and develop care plans.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians on treatment plans and make rounds on designated patients.
  • Document all patient care activities, including histories, procedures, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Develop and update neonatal care protocols, participate in quality management programs, and provide educational support to staff.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and maintain expertise through ongoing education and participation in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of neonatal care experience.
  • MSN and current RN and APRN licenses (Hawaii).
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $129,100 – $166,980 per year.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
