NP Needed in CA - Aya Locums $95-$110/hour

I have a great client in San Francisco, CA who's seeking 2 APPs for locum coverage. Here are some of the details.

Start Date: August

Contract Length: 26 Weeks

Shift Details: 3 x 12

Schedule: full-time only, 3x12hr shifts per week, days/nights/weekends/holidays required

Work Details:
• Support staff: Physicians, Surgeons, APP colleagues, and other administrative staff
• Patient population/age: Neonatals; patients from birth to 1 year old
• Department description: ICN(intensive care nursery), caring for newborns needing surgery for heart, lung, gastrointestinal and other life-threatening conditions
• EMR: EPIC

• Skills required: NP/PA will act as a member of the care team, taking primary responsibility for the safe delivery of care for inpatient newborns and infants. The locum will only work in the 58-bed Level lV Newborn ICU, and only with infants from birth to 1 year of age. (Note: The locum won’t cover ECMO patients since the NICU fellow covers them, but the locum could have the patient until and immediately after ECMO.) This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.

• Board Certification: Yes, Neonatal
• State license required: Yes, State of CA
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP. If NP, must have Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC). If PA, must have Masters in PA Studies or Masters in Medical Science.
• Must have submitted enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day.
• Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years of neonatal/pediatric experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
