Your New Role:

• Position: Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA)

• Job Duration: Locums (Long-term, 6+ months)

• Patient Population: Diverse inpatient population with a high acuity, including ICU patients

• Assignment Dates: Start ASAP upon credentialing (90-day process, with emergency privileges available)

• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

• State License: Active North Carolina license required

In this Role:

You will be an essential part of the Hospital Medicine team at our healthcare facility in Buncombe County, NC, covering 20-25 shifts per month in a high-acuity, 815-bed facility with over 80 ICU beds. Your responsibilities include managing a daily census of approximately 20 patients during the day and handling 10-12 admissions per night. While you won’t be required to perform procedures, you’ll occasionally respond to codes as part of a Rapid Response team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, supportive environment with intensivist backup available 24/7 and access to all medical subspecialties.
