Cellular Therapy Nurse Practitioner

Are you seeking a change to a new and awarding position in the amazing Phoenix, AZ area? We are hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; this is an APP role (inpatient & outpatient infusion) for our complex Cellular Therapy program.

This position has a relocation allowance and other incentives!! Salary is experience driven and will be discussed during initial discussion

Schedule/Clinic hours: Full Time 5x8s or 4x10s available!

The successful candidate will have more than two years’ experience: The position includes pre- and post-stem cell transplant (autologous & allogeneic), CAR-T, and leukemia. Background with these therapies and service lines highly preferred! *

Position duties and responsibilities: The stem cell APP will function collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary team and operate with a high level of autonomy. This opportunity will provide an opportunity for professional growth and leadership while providing care for patients undergoing treatment for hematologic malignancies. As an Advanced Practice Providers, you will provide a comprehensive patient assessment, ordering and interpreting of appropriate laboratory tests and radiologic exams, diagnosis, treatment and management of chemotherapy side effects, and medical co-morbidities. You will be expected to manage side effects and complications from underlying co-morbidities, hematologic disease and therapy. You will consult and make referrals to physicians and other members of the health care team as appropriate and coordinate discharge planning. In addition, you will provide educational support to patients and their families.

Qualifications NP/PA-C: Successful completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate and certified. Arizona license or license eligible
