Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NA) *122436: Northwestern, Iowa
- Seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology Oncology team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals focused on providing the highest quality care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Administer treatments such as chemotherapy under the supervision of an oncologist.
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatments, and preventative measures.
- Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner certification required.
- Experience in hematology or oncology preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
