Requirements:

• State License: Active Alabama license required

• Certifications: Board Certified by ANCC or AANP, BLS, CDS, DEA required; Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority

• Experience: Minimum five years in nursing, preferably in long-term care; at least one year with frail or elderly populations strongly preferred

In this Role:

As a Locum Nurse Practitioner at our healthcare facility in Mobile County, AL, you'll provide essential primary medical coverage for elderly participants in a PACE program, performing assessments, developing care plans, and managing acute and chronic conditions. You'll collaborate with physicians, assist with discharge planning, and participate in on-call rotations.
