Pediatric Opportunity in Queens, NY

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide long term locums coverage in Queens, NY. This is an outpatient clinic with some call requirements.

SCHEDULE:

Coverage Dates and Start Date: 06/02/25 - 12/05/25

Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Office Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. The typical patient volume is approximately 15- 20 patients/day. Weekday Call: after 5pm 1 night/week for emergency phone call coverage ( usually very light ). Weekend: Phone call coverage1 out of every 8 weekends . No patients in person on the weekends.

Coverage Days Needed: Monday-Friday, 1 weekend coverage, no holidays. One hour unpaid lunch break during each week day.

PRACTICE DETAILS:

Patients per Day/Volume: 15-20

Type of Patients/Cases: Routine Well Care Visits and Pediatric Sick Visits

Age range of Peds patients: Birth to 21

Procedures/Cases Required: administration of vaccines

Daily Responsibilities: See scheduled patients, answer patient connect messages, review labs /call patients to discuss results, nightly call 1 night / week, weekend call 1 out of every 8 weekends

Support Staff: MA'S, RN and LPN

EMR: Epic

Miscellaneous: This is an Outpatient Clinic. Must have 2yrs of recent experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Certifications/Qualifications Required - BLS

Active NY State License

DEA

2 years of experience
