Job Posting: Advanced Practice Provider - Employee Health/Urgent Care
Location: Killington, Vermont
Schedule: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Employee Health/Urgent Care team in Killington, VT. In this role, you will provide walk-in and appointment-driven care to employees, including pre- and new hire screenings, immunizations, vaccinations, and injury triage. You will work closely with the Medical Director and administrative leader to deliver comprehensive healthcare services and ensure the well-being of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide walk-in and appointment-based care for employees
  • Perform physical and psychological examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays and lab work
  • Consult with specialists as needed and evaluate patient care outcomes
  • Maintain detailed patient records and write progress notes on treatments and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program
  • NP or PA experience required
  • Vermont State Registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Certification by the appropriate certifying body (e.g., ANCC for NP, NCCPA for PA)
  • Unit-specific certifications (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC) as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to assess medical conditions, interpret findings, and maintain records
  • Experience with quality assurance and continuous improvement programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Compensation and Benefits:
