Job Description
Clinical Magnet is looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to help serve in their corrections facility near the Bridgeton, NJ area.
This is a DIRECT HIRE, 20 hour per week job.
Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Collaborate with the medical director, conducting health screenings for corrections inmates, both male and female
- Work in a very dynamic environment, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, with an opportunity to work flexible hours
Qualifications of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a corrections setting
- FNP or Adult Medicine background is helpful
- Strong understanding of general screening practices, medical intake processes, and advanced sickness
- Experience with Centricity or other EMR system
- Current, Unrestricted New Jersey NP Licensure
- Master of Science from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Compensation and Benefits for Nurse Practitioner:
- $65-$70/hr compensation
- 20 Hours per week, M-Th Schedule
