What We Offer:

- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough physical exams and health assessments for students upon entry and periodically.
- Medical Management: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
- Chronic Condition Management: Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health disorders.
- Health Education: Provide education on preventive healthcare measures, including vaccinations, nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Workshops and Counseling: Conduct health education workshops on topics like sexual health, substance abuse prevention, stress management, and hygiene.
- Referrals and Collaboration: Refer students to external healthcare providers and collaborate closely with Job Corps staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on each student’s health needs and goals.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Nurse Practitioner
- Licensure: Valid MT State license
- Certification: Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
