Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a locum basis at a Level III trauma center. With a busy ER handling approximately 60,000 cases annually (165 cases per 24-hour period), this position offers a dynamic and rewarding experience for an experienced APP.
Position Highlights:
- Shifts: 10-hour shifts, preference for providers who can cover 4-5 consecutive days
- Patient Volume: All ages
- EMR System: Epic
- Credentialing: Efficient credentialing process, typically completed within 30-45 days
- Travel & Lodging: Provided for locum providers
Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid Kentucky NP/PA license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience in a high-volume environment is preferred
- Availability: Able to work 4-5 days in succession for seamless coverage
