Your New Role:

• Position: Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)

• Job Duration: Locums (6+ months)

• Setting: Emergency Department

• Patient Population: Emergency Medicine patients with an annual volume of 36,000

• Assignment Dates: Starting as soon as credentialed

• EMR: Meditech

Requirements:

• State License: Active North Carolina license required

• Certifications: ACLS and PALS, NCCPA or NP certification

• Experience: Board-certified or board-eligible with relevant Emergency Medicine experience

In this Role:

As an Emergency Medicine APC at our healthcare facility in eastern North Carolina, you will provide crucial patient care in a busy ED with 36,000 annual visits. You’ll work in shifts of 10-12 hours, supporting both day and night coverage alongside physicians. With a manageable patient flow of 1.96 patients per hour, you will contribute to a highly skilled team in a supportive environment, ensuring quality care and fast-paced decision-making in a Level III trauma center.
