Your New Role:

• Position: Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA)

• Job Duration: Locums (Long-term, 6+ months)

• Setting: Emergency Medicine in rural and community hospital settings

• Patient Population: High-volume emergency patients in Level III and IV Trauma Centers

• Assignment Dates: Start upon credentialing

• EMR: Medhost

Requirements:

• State License: Active West Virginia NP/PA license required, with willingness to cross-credential for both facilities.

• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred; ability to manage high patient volumes independently.

In this Role:

As an Emergency Medicine APC, you'll provide critical care at our healthcare facilities in West Virginia, working in 20 to 30-bed EDs with annual volumes of 31,969 to 42,000 patients. You’ll cover varied shifts, including 24-hour physician coverage and staggered APC hours. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your emergency medicine skills while working in both Level III and IV Trauma Centers. Starting upon credentialing, you’ll be an essential part of stabilizing these busy programs, with the chance to negotiate higher pay based on your availability and experience.
