Your New Role:

• Position: Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) - Day and Night Shifts Available

• Job Duration: Locums (Long-term, 6+ months)

• Patient Population: Emergency and inpatient care for a diverse population, including potential ICU-level patients

• State License:

• Active Virginia NP/PA license required

• Certifications:

• Board-Certified in NP/PA (Emergency Medicine preferred)

• Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) required

• Experience:

• Experience in Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine preferred; comfort with ICU-level care for night shifts is beneficial

In this Role:

As an Emergency Medicine APC at our healthcare facility in Carroll County,VA, you’ll cover up to 30 shifts per month in a 13-bed ED with an annual patient volume of 14,500. Day shifts focus on traditional hospitalist duties, including admissions, rounding, and potential ICU-level care, while night shifts involve whole-house coverage with a focus on independent practice and ICU patients. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and the ED team to deliver high-quality care in a rural setting, with no call responsibilities.
