Your New Role:

Position: Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA)

Job Duration: Locums (Long-term, 6+ months)

Patient Population: Emergency Medicine patients with an annual volume of 17,571; approximately 1.7 patients per hour

Assignment Dates: Start ASAP upon credentialing (90-day process)

EMR: Meditech

Requirements:

State License:

• Active Virginia NP/PA license required

Certifications:

• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Life Support Certifications (ATLS, ACLS, PALS) required

• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption required

Experience:

• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred but not required

In this Role:

As an Emergency Medicine APC at our healthcare facility in Tazewell County, VA, you’ll cover 10-12 shifts per month in a 16-bed ED, managing an annual patient volume of 17,571. With shift coverage available for both day and night, you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency care, including some admitting orders and a focus on patient stabilization.
