Your New Role:

Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Perioperative Care

Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent

Setting: Hospital-based perioperative care unit

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Experience: Candidate needs to show 3 years of relevant experience either as an RN or NP

Patient Population: Patients across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly

In this Role:

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Perioperative Care at our healthcare facility in Umatilla County, OR, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients scheduled for surgery. You will determine appropriate workups, follow-ups, and ongoing assessments, and coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists throughout the preadmission process. Your role involves maintaining clear communication with all members of the perioperative team and organizing all aspects of patient care for which you are responsible. This position requires a candidate with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Epic EMR is essential.
