Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine

Location: Lubbock, TX area


We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a well-respected critical access hospital working a 24| 48 shift schedule (negotiable)| ER on Call. 48 hours blocked schedule preferred in Emergency Medicine.

The Provider would work independently and will be the Primary Provider for all admissions. The Provider must feel comfortable working in a "True ER" critical access setting. ER Admits would be approximately 80 per month (low volume). The provider would have collaborating physician support for any trauma cases which are stabilized and sent to Lubbock.

Medical Spanish Preferred but not required

The compensation package would be $135,000+ (New Grads with Strong ER RN or EMT Experience Considered)

Full benefits package including Medical Dental and 401K, CME, CME Allowance and all dues, fees and licensure paid for as well.

Additionally, the Provider would be able to apply for loan repayment through either the NHSC and Nursing Corp for 2018 funding. The Provider would be eligible to receive up to $25,000 per year directly to the candidates Federally qualified student loans (two-year commitment required) or up to 60% of their loans paid though the Nursing Corp program. This requires a separate application as it is a Federally sponsored program. Great opportunity for a Provider interested in a critical access ER setting with the potential to receive Federal Loan Repayment Assistance.
