Job Description
We are staffing for staffing for an urgent L4 NICU NNP need in Pennsylvania. This client is willing to consider candidates needing to obtain PA licensure (target start date is July/ August)
THIS IS A LONG-TERM, ONGOING CONTRACT! Up to a year of coverage! (However can be flexible to your availability for part time or full time coverage)
Details:
-L4 High Acuity NICU
-Provide critical care in a Level IV NICU alongside a multidisciplinary team.
-Manage high-risk deliveries, ventilation, resuscitation, stabilization, and more.
-Conduct essential procedures such as PICC/UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, and intubations.
-Participate in specialized transport teams for ground and air medical transfers. (Average of 2 air transports for NNPs/ year but providers must be willing to do them) Facility will train for air transport.
Shifts:
Weekdays: 7 AM - 5 PM or 4 PM - 8 AM; Weekends: 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM.
Option for 24-hour shifts, adhering to provider fatigue policy.
Requirements:
-NNP certification and eligibility for licensure in PA.
-Experience in a high-acuity NICU
-Commitment to complete specialized air transport training.
Compensation:
- 1099 contract (reap the tax advantages of doing locums as a contractor!)
-paid travel, housing, & malpractice insurance
-will reimburse for licensure / credentialing fees
