Cardiovascular ICU - Nurse Practitioner

Come be a part of a leading Cardiovascular practice in beautiful central Michigan!

Looking for a full time NP/PA for our ICU inpatient post-op surgical clinic. Our highly awarded Vascular clinics serve multiple counties in the central Michigan area. The provider will be rounding in the mornings. You will typically be done by 1pm. There will be clinic responsibilities for 3-4 days a week after rounding in complete. If a consult comes in, you will be responsible for that as well. The NP/PA will be rounding directly with the physicians. Mostly dealing with Cardiac, cardiology and vascular post-op patients.

Our multidisciplinary team of surgeons, internists, podiatrists, interventional radiologists, nurses, and coordinators provide care 24 hours a day for patients in need of emergent, short-term and long-term care.

-They are willing to train if the provider does not have direct cardiac ICU experience.

-ICU experience is preferred but Emergency Medicine experience will be considered.

-Procedures are also a plus but not necessary as they are open to train!!

-Call will be 2 weekends a month, you will be rounding in the clinic on those days

-Inpatient role

Schedule: Monday - Friday full time role with weekend call. Not every weekend!

Required Credentials: Certified BLS/ACLS Provider, to be obtained within 12 months of hire

Licensed Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan OR Licensed Physician Assistant through the State of Michigan
